Kings Island Adventures It was a long trip i thought and i was hungry, it took us 3 hour to get there i would slept every other half hour because we got up early and i went to bed late still packing. And getting my hair ready because apparently i was going to leave it down and straight but ya know i can't keep my hair down and it being hot and humid outside. You should be wondering what this is about well this is about the part of my life of me going to Kings Island with my mom and my friends and the youth group in church. There 2 vans and 3 other cars but in the cars where the families that wanted to come along. And in the 1 of the vans all girls obviously i was in that one with me mom, and in the other van were all the guys of youth group. I feel like the only reason it took 3 hours to get to Kings Island was because we stopped at McDonald’s and honestly i was super hungry. Then we arrived at Kings Island, oh my goodness it was big and i was so exciting. So my friends know that i have the fear of roller coaster and heights so they wanted to put me on the fastest and highest ride to overcome it, but i chickened out and i didn't go on the rides they went on, i went on 2 water rides and a new one they had. Both of the water rides was fun one of them was like log one where you have swirls but then it goes up a hill then it lets you fall and all the water splashes all over you and me and my mom were soaking wet. The other was like a wheel and it was my mom and me and 4 other of my friends and the wheel would swirl around by itself and it was on a river canal and it would have dips and you would get wet and since the wheel would swirl around you would think its someone else that will get wet but yet it would be you or someone else. The other roller coaster was pretty big for me since i'm afraid of heights and roller coaster i was screaming the whole entire time and oh my goodness i was so mad at my mom because she traumatised me! After we went on the water rides my mom and i went and changed. Then we were hungry again, and to my good luck there was Panda Express my favorite place to eat in the world. Then we went to the Eiffel Tower obviously not the real one in Paris but it was great! My mom felt a little
Which I was very thankful for, considering my stomach was rumbling from hunger, despite the fact I had devoured a tray of fish and chips and a deliciously cold chocolate ice cream about an hour beforehand on the Beach of Phillip Island.
We were walking and then we stopped at the ride called “Boomerang”. The ride was another roller coaster. I begged my dad not to go on the ride because he said let’s go on the ride. Unfortunately, I gave up begging him and he we went in line. The good thing is that the line wasn’t really long. After waiting for twenty minutes, we finally got on the ride. I looked around and was frighten. I knew the ride would first turn forward and then backwards. The ride started and I screamed. The ride wasn’t as bad as “Medusa” which is a good thing. After the ride was done, I was happy to get off the ride.I thought the ride was actually really fun and I loved it.
When your body tells you no, listen! It was two years ago at Kings Island and I was with my friends. We were walking to the biggest ride in Kings Island, the Banshee, which also goes upside down. When we got in line, a sign noted that it was a two hour wait from this point. So, only two of us wanted to wait, because this was the Banshee. While waiting in line, it was very hot and I started to get one of my migraines. Just then we were next in line, so we took our seats.
When I was 3 years old, just 19 months after my sister was born, we went on a trip to Florida. We had to wake up at about 3:00 a.m. ,because it takes us an hour to get are luggage in the truck and to get everyone up and dressed. Our truck was a black Suburban. It took an hour and a half to get the airport, an hour or two to get our 3 bags of luggage on the plane,to get breakfast,to get coffee for my Mom, Dad, Nana Pat, and, Papa Daryl. Finally, we got a security check for all of us.
It was carrying a lot of people from all over the world. I have never been so excited in my life to go to one place. The anticipation was so overwhelming and once again, I could not wait to get to the resort. After a twenty minute bus ride we got to the resort. Once I stepped off the bus I could remember seeing the beautiful palm trees and feeling the heat of the sun beating on my face. I said to my dad, finally we made it and let the fun begin. We got settled and checked into the hotel. My brother and I decided to check the rest of the resort out. The resort had a crystal clear pool with a bar in it. It was amazing and I have never seen anything like it before in my life. The resort also had ten gourmet restaurants and plenty of entertaining things for us kids to do. So, after we did this we went back to our hotel and stayed in for the night. We were beat and just wanted to get some sleep from the long day of
I was standing in line with my sister and cousin waiting to get on the “Viper”. We were at Six Flags having already been in the long line an hour and a half. We all went on our favorite rides, then we decided to go on the roller-coaster. This was going to be my very first ever roller-coaster in my life. Then the roller coaster conductor told us to get on the coaster. I jumped in, put my seatbelt on and listened to the safety precautions. Then the conductor pressed the button and we were off.
My dad told us we could, but to make sure not to get lost. We said ok and went over to Six Flags Park. Asia was trying to force me to get on this big, gigantic roller coaster called The Batman. I told her she must be out of her mind. She said I was if I did not get on. Reluctantly, I said ok, but told her she was going to be the one paying for my funeral if I don’t make it! She told me to stop doubting myself and grow up already. When I finally got on to the ride I was like, “Oh heck no! Let me off!” The ride man told me I would be fine as he locked the bar into place. As the ride started and we began clicking up that first huge hill, I was like “Oh my God I’m really goanna die!” Then, I was like, AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!”, and, “AHHHHHH!” Then it was over I was like, “That was so awesome! We got to go again!” Asia said I told you so as we got back in line again. We went on to ride it a total of 7 times. After the 7th time we finally decided to do something different. We wanted to do the Mr. Freeze coaster, but there was a 60 min. wait. That was when we looked over and saw the Scooby Doo ride only had a 15 min. wait so we decided to ride it instead. The ride was a lot more fun than we thought it would be. We were all in these 4 passenger “Mystery Machines” that had lazertag guns and score counters. Asia and I competed to see who could get the highest score. Six Flags had a lot of other cool
The thing that I miss most about summer is King's island. I had a pass so I could go when I wanted to and it was always a fun time. It is a good time to hang out with friends and go on rides. My favorite ride there is the beast because it isn’t too bumpy and it has a ton of sharp turns and caves. It also is slightly scary with all of the fake warning signs. The food at Kings Island is also decent so I wouldn’t have to go get lunch. If I get tired of the rides then I can go on the water rides and the wave pool. The water rides don’t usually have the longest of lines if you get there early but if not then they are worth it. My favorite overall is the Tropical Plunge. This ride has the drop shoot, You stand in a vertical tube and you wait for the countdown and the floor drops underneath your feet. You then shoot down the tube and you make it to the end. All of these factors make Kings Island a very fun place, and the thing that I miss the most from summer.
are so much games in Dave and Busters one time I got a hamburger that was big
We were waiting in line, I was so scared. Dad said, “Go on the ride it will be fun.” Finally it was our turn when we got on the ride we started going up.¨Are you ready?¨”Dad said. I was not feeling great about doing this. When we hit the top we went straight down everyone was screaming. I was so scared but relieved I did it. The rest of the ride
Four friends were going to hang out at Kings Island during Halloween Haunt. Their names are Jane Rogers, April O’Neil, Steve Rogers, and Donatello Hamato.
AHHHHHHH!! Me complaining, it was a very sunny day. It was like a million degrees outside. So my family and I decided to go to Hersheypark. I was only 7 years old, and my mom and dad told me if I wanted to ride a roller coaster for my first time. I was 7 so I said, “yes”. My brother said “no”, because he’s afraid of them. Then my mom told me are you ready, seeing me pack my stuff, I told her, “yes mom i’m ready”?(Sarcasm) After a couple minutes we got to Hersheypark. When we got there all I could think about is, which roller coaster will my mom, dad, and me ride. Just thinking about it made me nervous and sick. My family and I went on other rides, that helped me to stop thinking about the roller coaster I would ride. Luckily after that we went to the Hershey store, I forgot about the roller coaster.
It was around 4:30 5:00pm on a Saturday when my Dad, Sister Ahlancya, Cousin Mycal, Best friend Gracie, and I were getting in the car after the dentist to go to the Ohio State Fair. When we got there we had to walk over to where the rides were because of where we parked. “Whoosh”, as the rides went past. After getting are wrist bands we all except my Dad jumped into the line of our favorite rides. Gracie and I even rode or two that Ahlancya and Mycal recommended for us to ride, they were so fun!!! In till they recommended us to ride this rollercoaster that goes upside down and hangs you there for about 15 seconds mind me Gracie and I hated those rides
I can't believe I spent $550 on a plane flight from Palm Springs,California, all the way across the country to Duluth,Minnesota, man that plane flight was frustrating especially with the crying baby and the little kid who kept kicking the back of my seat for the entirety of the flight. And then to ride a bike to Tofte, take a break at a lovely hotel, then to Grand Port on bike, my journey just began. Taking a water taxi lonesomely from Grand Portage, Minnesota to Windigo, Isle Royale, I was falling in love with the green trees and the beautiful calm water.Today was my first day venturing to this isolated land, talking to people around here I found that out that in 1843, Isle Royale was acquired from the Ojibwa Indian tribe through one of the
The glowing sun melts into the glistening lake waters through the dense pine trees. Pink and orange hues are painted across the dimly light sky as wispy clouds float out of sight. A gentle wind leaves a chill in the August air. Crickets chirp as the day transitions into night. Campers start to trickle into the candle lit chapel, arms crossed, voices silenced. The angled ceilings and open walls allow for a fully immersive experience. I don’t consider myself a religious person, but experiencing a night on Onaway is truly an otherworldly experience. I walk into the chapel and make a beeline for the benches on the far left of the chapel. These seats are angled just so the sun doesn’t get in your eyes as it begins to set. I shake the loose, dry, pine needles out of my sandals and watch them drift back onto the floor. I twirl the handmade friendship bracelet encircled around my wrist as I glance around the lofty rafters. Cobwebs missed by the early morning cleaning dangle lazily like doilies glued to the ceiling.
