Simply being invited to become a member of the National Honor Society is a privilege. It’s not necessarily surprising to me that I was invited but rather gives me an exhilarating feeling. A part of me now knows that my sedulous efforts have finally paid off. Throughout my high school career so far I’ve exhibited the four pillars, which are scholarship, leadership, character, and service. This organization administers a plethora of opportunities that has an impact on the students and the lives of others especially. To be accepted into the National Honor Society would motivate me to contribute even more to not only our school but also the community.
Being inducted into National Honors Society requires a student to demonstrate all of the four qualities many of our role models in the present and in the past have possessed, which include: scholarship, service, leadership and character. As I’m considered a candidate for this group, I already possess the quality of scholarship and it is my duty in this paper to show that I hold the other three important attributes needed to qualify for this institution.

The National Honors Society allows students to be build and create traits that are essential in a successful adult. I truly believe that hold many of these traits and joining the National Honor Society will grant me the opportunity to expand on these traits and grow as a person. Thus far I have focus greatly on the scholarship aspect of NHS and have been dedicated to my academics. I have held my GPA above 4.0 and have always been devoted to maintaining that high level of academic success. The skills I have shown in devoting myself to my academics can be easily translated into my dedication for the other aspects of leadership, service and character. Having previously held a officer role in the National Junior Honor Society I have gained experience
As a candidate for membership into the National Honor Society, I already possess the quality of scholarship. I have received First Honors every quarter since Pre-K3 when I first started school, and I earned high average each year. I maintain my high average in school while joining other organizations, and participating in other activities. Also, I have been taking regular and honors courses while in high school. While an elementary student at Kingsway Christian Academy, I participated in each of the Academic Challenges. I was also the recipient of the Science Fair Award, the President’s Award, the Excellence Award, and many other academic achievements during my school career. As a junior, I am now a member of the Yearbook Journalism Staff and I look forward to having a successful Yearbook year.

If I were to be accepted into the National Junior Honor Society, which is one of the highest honors that can be awarded, I would consider myself to be a very lucky person. Throughout my life, I've always considered myself as someone with good character and values.I've always prided myself in always doing the right thing and helping others. In addition, I view myself as a leader, not a follower. Being a leader comes naturally to me. I'm a leader amongst my friends and siblings. They always look up to me when they have a problem or when they need advice. I have a good standard education with an A average which will help me achieve my goals in the future.
It is unbelievable that this year is my last year in Charlestown High School. As I look back at the past three years, there were several poignant moments when I was struggling with my classes and would have given up trying to achieve my goals. But as a diligent student, I chose to endure those moments. And that is how I become an outstanding student today. National Honor Society honors students who have demonstrated excellence in the areas of scholarship, leadership, service, and character. Being nominated to become a member of the National Honor Society is a highly prestigious honor, and I am very grateful to be a candidate.
I may not be the best candidate for the next member of the National Junior Honor Society, but I certainly believe I could be a great addition! Overall, I am a great learner, leader and student. I have not had any major discipline problems since kindergarten! I have always had top grades and have been top of my class at some point or another. I have good grades that I always maintain and standards that I never lower. My character is not the best but it certainly isn’t the worst. I try to help out in my school or community when possible but regrettably I have not given much of my time to my school or community. At the end of the day, I am a good student, friend, son and brother.
Throughout my high school career at Wahconah Regional High School, I have done, and continue to keep doing many activities in order to help my community. In addition I have made various accomplishments in many different areas. I should be inducted into the National Honor Society because of how my accomplishments and community activities prove how I fit into the four pillars, service, leadership, character and scholarship.
Being nominated for Michigan Junior Honor Society is a big deal and accomplishment for me. I really value education and I feel that this will really help me with my education and in being a better person. As my teachers did, I believe I would be a good student for MJHS. I do all sorts of activities in and out of school and in the past I’ve done many things to give back to the community.
National Junior Honor Society is a great opportunity for me, and I am very honored to be selected to apply. I feel I am an acceptable candidate, for not only am I
Every day I aim to exemplify a good character, and to be the best role model that I can be. I achieve this by keeping a positive attitude, no matter the situation. This tends to rub off onto other people and increase the general mood of the environment. I also try to always seem approachable, as I always never want someone to dislike or avoid me. I think one of the most important character traits that I show is that I give others respect, and treat them how I would want to be treated. A simple yet very effective rule that our parents teach us when we are younger. I show great loyalty, as I always stick to my word. I try my best not to judge people before I get to know them, as I would never want to be in that position. I feel that it is very important for me to be the best person that I can be, because I want to show people, and teach them how they can be a better person, so that we can all live a better, and happier,
