Pakistan is located in the temperate area on the planet. The climate of Pakistan is generally divided by two main seasons of cold winter and hot summer. Pakistan has a huge variation among extremes of the temperature. A little rainfall also takes place in Pakistan’s different parts of the country. Pakistan has four seasons; winter, summer, spring and autumn. The winter season or cool winter starts from December and ends in February, the dry spring starts from march through may, the summer or rainy season starts from June till the end of September. Pakistan also faces the monsoon period in the month of October and November. The duration of above-mentioned seasons depends on the locations of regions. Pakistan has many regions, where snow can be seen in the months of December and January. North of the Azad Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan, Northern Punjab, Northern half of Khyber-pakhtoon Khwa and some regions of Baluchistan are usually covered with snow in the winter season. Pakistan is always hotter in the months of June and July. The weather of Pakistan is getting hotter as compared to old days. In Wikipedia I studied an article that says: Pakistan has recorded on 26th may 2010, one of the highest temperature in the world, which was 53.5 degree centigrade (128.3 F). It is not only the hottest temperature that is recorded in Pakistan, but hottest as well as in the continent of Asia”. Different parts of Pakistan have its own temperature. The temperature at the Baluchistan Plateau is
The Earth 's seasons have shifted back in the calendar year, with the hottest and coldest days of the years now occurring almost two days earlier. Temperatures over land in the 100-year period between 1850 and 1950 showed a simple, natural pattern of variability, with the hottest day of the year in the Northern Hemisphere landing around July 21. But from the mid-1950s onward (the period when global average temperatures began to rise), the hottest day came 1.7 days earlier.
The Phrase ideology means: “Sciences of ideals”. It include those thoughts which encourages the any nation for struggle.
Some countries like Canada, Australia, and France experienced four seasons which consists of summer, spring, winter and fall. In the Philippines which is the country that I lived in have only two seasons. the wet and the dry seasons. My favorite season of the year would be the dry season, it happens during the month of November to April.
The angle at which sunlight strikes the ground causes the seasons. Earth does not have an axis that is straight up and down, its axis is tilted 23.5°. When Earth revolves around the sun, the way the sunlight hits earth causes some places to be colder when they are tilted away from the sun, while other places are warmer because they are tilted towards the sun. An example of this is our Boston/ San Carlos data lab. In this lab, we looked at the weather for Boston and San Carlos de Bariloche. The reason we chose San Carlos is because it is our exact latitude opposite, being 29° South and Boston being 29° North. As Boston was proceeding into winter, San Carlos was proceeding to summer. This is because of Earth’s tilt. San Carlos is tilted towards
Due to the lack of scientific data, it is difficult to determine if arid climates have been affected by climate changes. Arid climates are always hot and dry, so those areas have not had a lot of research. There is insufficient scientific studies of arid climates, so the exact cause of the climate changes, if any, are difficult to identify.
Global warming is the gradual increase in temperature of the earth’s atmosphere. It is mostly caused by the increased levels of carbon dioxide and other pollutants. Recently, global warming has been rising and is negatively affecting people, animals, and the weather. It is negatively affecting people by increasing health problems such as, cancers, and respiratory problems. It’s causing animals to be put on the endangered list, or even extinct the species as a whole. And it’s affecting the weather by causing an increase in storms such as hurricanes, floods, tornadoes, etc. Global warming is a huge problem that people tend to ignore, and needs to be put to an end.
Historically, the north-west has been one of Pakistan's least developed regions. But Swat, interestingly, has long been a bright spot in terms of
A common misconception for many, is the seasons are affected by the proximity of the Sun and Earth. It's cold out due to the Sun being far away from the Earth,
adverse impacts of climate change in sub-Saharan Africa, the region will remain vulnerable to the effects of climate change (FAO, 2009).
As time passed, conditions in Pakistan worsened. Terrorists bombed mosques and churches, they threatened people to the point where every child was scared to leave his/her house . Robbery, corruption, strikes, revolts, and fights were everywhere.
The Sahel is an area in Africa which suffers droughts and it is hard to grow crops due to the hot climate. Seasonal shifts there lead to decreased rainfall and the drought tolerant maize helps farmers adapt to climate change.
Pakistan has a distinct Islamic identity as one of the first South Asia region fully impacted by Islam. Historically different from other regions it governs their personal, political, economic and legal lives. Majority of Pakistanis practice Islam. Muslim makes up 97 percent of the population with 77 percent being Sunni, which mean “people of the tradition [of Muhammad]” and 20 percent Shi’a. The other 3 percent represent Christian and Hindu mostly. As Muslims they follow certain obligations as in pray five times a day at dawn, noon, afternoon, sunset, and evening. Islamic Law provides guidance, which virtually touches every aspect of life
Pakistan is the favorite haven for many terrorists. Pakistan has a great strategic location by being a large corridor between Europe and Asia. The government of Pakistan
Pakistan, due to its diverse range of terrain, is susceptible to wide ranging hazards from droughts to floods and earthquakes to cyclones. Pakistan suffered a major drought from 1995-2000. Pakistan almost every year suffers from floods but the destructions faced in 2010 have changed parameters of our thinking. Pakistan has also experienced earthquakes ranging from moderate to severe in intensity. Despite all these hazards, Pakistan is yet to
Climate change is one of the major issues surfacing earth over the past century. The earth’s temperature has increased over the years leading to detrimental effects on the economic and life sources of people, especially that of agricultural production and livestock. The Merriam-Webster online dictionary (2014), defined climate change as a change in global climate patterns apparent from the mid late 20th century. The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, IPCC, (2007) predicts that by 2100 the increase in global average surface temperature may be between 1.8° C and 4.0° C. With increases of 1.5° C to 2.5° C, approximately 20 to 30 percent of plant and animal species are expected to be at risk of extinction. Moreover, the IPCC (2007)
