The Red Bus
It all happened one regular afternoon on a Wednesday at Hertford County Early College. It was around 4:40 p.m. and video game club had just dismissed from Ms. Smyth’s room, everyone except for Nick and Alston. They were still waiting for their rides.
While waiting, they noticed a mysterious red bus pull up about 30 yards from them. They had never seen a red bus before but didn’t pay it any mind. Alston decided he wanted something to drink. He told Nick that he would be back and left for the vending machine. It took Alston about ten minutes to get his drink and come back. When he got back Nick had left so he figured he had been picked up.
Alston received a text saying his dad wouldn’t be there until six and it was already five so Alston decided to walk around. He started to the red bus just to get a better peak at it. As he was walking, he noticed a tree with a bush beside it. Inside the bush laid Nicks bags. The bags all had a

Seeing that made realize what exactly happened to Nick. He picked the man’s body up and took him insie the bus. Alston ran as fast as he could when the alien wasn’t looking. Alston made it to a nearby phone when he heard the alien saying he needs directions. Alston watched in horror as a woman came and was talking to him. Everything that happened to Nick and the nice man was about to fall upon her until Alston took a flag poll he saw by the door and ran out with it towards the alien. The woman turned to walk away and the alien was going to kill her when I jabbed him in the heart with the pole and watched how green ooze came out and as the woman watched she knew he had saved her life. He ran to the bus to check for more where I found dead bodies and Nick who was still alive but going into shock. ALston rushed him to the hospital and to this day Alston is known as the hero of
When you parents tell you not to do something do you just do it anyways. Well I do and this time I think I learnt my lesson. It all started on a normal Saturday and we were gonna go on a hike, but none of us wanted to go somewhere so we just did it at home. We got our bags and water ready and busted for the trail. I thought it was gonna be a normal day and we would all have fun, but I got proved wrong. The trail itself is about three miles and a couple of extra steps, but with the surprise we only walked a mile of it.
The fact that the traveller is waiting for the bus, in my estimation, justifies that the bus exists beyond the mind of the traveller waiting for it, or being in the company of the fellow travellers who are waiting for it so that they can board. It cannot be a coincidence that all the travellers on the bus stop are deluded by the illusion of an existing bus that is only presented in their minds. In essence, it is the relationship between the traveller and the physical bus that defines reality, and if one chooses to attack my dis
So they decide to go to class without a pass and try to get in the class. When they were in the hallway the lights began to go off and on. They were confused Mr.Jessup began to walk in the hallway while it was happening. Alex then ask “what's happening to the light”. He responds by saying “nothing is happening stop wasting my time”. He then starts to walk off to his office.
Page 5: Sam thought how was I going to tell my parents what happened but before he was able to reach his house he found a surprisingly small bus with a mouth and a nose.
When the two men went to the same car dealership to see who would be helped in a decent manner, the salesman of the same racial descent as the African American tester, Glenn, was completely ignored. The white American tester, John, got help within the first few seconds of browsing from the same African American salesman that ignored Glenn (Harvey 1991). I was also surprised that Glenn was assumed to be attempting to commit a crime when browsing the record store, despite no obvious suspicious acts (Harvey 1991). Even when the two show the same need for assistance inside a store or in a parking lot, Glen was always ignored. Even the prices of items John asked about almost doubled when Glenn asked. Furthermore, when interviewed for job positions Glenn got lectured upon laziness, being late, and drug abuse, despite the preference on race over a criminal background (Pager 2007). Lastly, I was surprised they didn’t see who would be more likely to get help or hired in an inner city.
“Hey, kids, you wanna go for a ride in the car?” Mama yelled out the front door of the little white four room house our family of six lived in. We kids jumped up and down, yelling, “Yes, yes.” “Where we goin, Mama?” “Just get in the backseat of the car and you’ll see when we get there,” Mama replied as she scooted under the steering wheel of our beloved light gray Kaiser that was our only means of getting anywhere. Four kids crammed into the backseat, halfway sitting on top of each other and arguing the whole while over who’s going to get to sit next to the door. “First we have to stop and pick up Daddy from work,” Mama told us as she tried to calm the excitement we were all exhibiting, “then you‘ll find out where we’re goin.”
When I got fired from my job over the summer I realized there wasn't a lot to do. I was bored. This led to me exploring the woods around my house.I found lots of things, old oil cans, empty budweisers, and coyote traps, but the biggest thing I found was a trailer.
The unrelenting struggle to climb the summit of my darkened soul yields a somnambulatory existence. Reality’s crushing gravity renders me a lifeless zombie trapped in the circuitous game of functioning. How do I go on when my body reeks of failure and pain?
I am a piece of clay, just as every person is. We are not just any kind of clay, though, we’re that special molding clay that never dries out. Because of this, we are constantly molded by almost everyone and everything surrounding our lives. At the beginning of life, we are molded by the hands of loving parents, but once we leave that safe-place, we are on our own. At that point, we can be tossed, slammed, poked at, and sometimes even ripped apart. One important event in my life that molded me and has helped make me the person I am today was my first roller coaster ride. Amusement rides don’t usually change a person’s life, but the first time I went on a roller coaster, I found myself stepping off the ride as an entirely different person. Most people conquer their fear of heights or fast-moving vehicles on thrill rides, but instead, I conquered the one thing most people are terrified to face. Something that’s more horrific than monsters and demons, and that is yourself. For me, the ride was more of a journey than anything. From the beginning to the end, I learned a
Nick looked at the time and told Jacob that he has to go to work. When Nick got to work he had to do patrol duty. While he was patrolling he heard a noise calling for help he
The day was June 23, 2017 in Huntsville, Al. A friend of mine named Jalen Caudle threw one of the biggest parties of the year. He had a DJ, buffet, mini bar and more. This was a huge event for surroundings schools alike but so many things happened at this party. Which lead to it being one the greatest parties of the year.
Moving, although natural, is not easy to most people. How many things are involved when you have to leave your school and friends behind to go to a place totally unfamiliar where anything could go wrong? For me, more than I could count since my family decided to move four thousands miles away.
It was time to leave for the race. Once on the bus, I remember thinking, “What a crummy bus for star athletes. I hope it doesn’t break down on the way to our destination”. The bus reeked of sweat and mildew, with a hint of something sweet. There had to be three year old dust upon the seats and floor. The engine was screaming and whistling like a hatchling looking for its mother. Thick black smoke like smog came pouring out of the exhaust, but finally we were off.
I’ve just arrived in Washington D.C and departed from the Addison Road. Now I’m making my way towards the bus stop, then from there I’m on my way to the airport. The sun was shining much brighter outside of the train; however, the luminosity of the sky did not reflect well the temperature. Walking, what should have only taken 5 minutes, felt like an eternity. Once you’ve been traveling for long enough, you start to pick up on some things. For starters, the bus drivers start to get getting uglier, and uglier the farther you descend south. Also the activities you do to pass the time differ depending on the mode of transportation. I’d say your mental state of mind has more to do with how fast time flies than anything. You don’t expect to be on
Because of all of the sugar flowing through his veins John thought it would be wise to steal a golf cart and drive through the tennis courts and on to the putting greens of the golf course with his closest friend David. After being spotted by the club security, John and David were chased around the property until their cart ran out of gas. From there they decided to run out of the area and into the closest gas station to stop and refuel on food and drinks. David bought 4 liters of Coca Cola, a bag of marbles and 5 packages of Mentos. After pondering the store it became clear that everyone had wondered where the two had went. Their cellphones were picking up on dozens of missed calls and text messages. John decided to send out a social media post tagging his location and 10 minutes later the entire party had made its way to the gas station. The 100 or so teenagers were up to no good and decided to walk to their high school down the block. Most of the 100 decided to walk back to the club because they were afraid of being caught but 3 other boys decided to follow John and David through an unopened window of the school
