Some of the things I am going to be talking about is how Scrooge acted before everything happened, how he acted when a ghost came to his house to show him how other people live, and when he realized that what he has been doing his whole life was a bad thing.
Scrooge is always mad and grumpy. He lost his partner on Christmas eve a few years back. So ever since that he has never been happy and wishes he would just die. The place where Scrooge worked at he had a coworker and Scrooge was always be mean to him. Scrooge never gave him a raise and made him work on Christmas eve. Some kids were Christmas caroling and one little kid stopped at Scrooge’s job. Since Scrooge hates Christmas he storms to the door to tell the little boy to leave. The little boy got scared and ran off yelling. Scrooge didn't even let his coworker decorate the place they worked at. Scrooge would treat his coworker terribly and Scrooge never thought how he lives.

His name was Jacob but he saw him as a ghost not a human. Jacob already knew Scrooge didn't want to live anymore. So Jacob was able to make Scrooge see life once he dies. The people Scrooge was mean to he was able to see how they live and how much he has changed their
For Scrooge is revolved around money, money, and oh yeah I forgot one more thing money. Scrooge hated Christmas. He did not even like to hear the word
At the beginning of the story, Scrooge isn’t really happy. He hates everything in the world. The one thing that he cares about is his money. Greed is the thing that drives him to be a lonely monster that nobody likes. When his business partner Bob Marley died, and his Girlfriend broke up with him. Shortly after Bob Marley died Scrooge got a ghostly visit from him. Marley told him if that he didn’t change he would die and nobody will care. First he needs to prove it to three ghosts.
In Scrooge’s past and present, his actions had not been admirable. In reaction to this, Scrooge had closed himself off and become cold and impenetrable by any kindness. He had no empathy for others. The Ghost of Christmas Yet to Come changed this mindset by showing Scrooge the most severe consequences of his cold hearted actions. In
Ebenezer Scrooge is a miserable and greedy old man, who focuses mainly on his business and continues with his greedy ways on Christmas Eve. He is always grumpy and yells at his employees, and most of all at Bob Cratchit. Scrooge’s desire is to be by himself on Christmas Eve, and rejects his nephew Fred’s, invitation for dinner. One night, the ghost of Jacob Marley, a former colleague of Scrooge, who has passed away seven years ago, visits the old man. Marley reminds Scrooge of his cruel lifestyle and encourages him to change it before it is too late. He tells Scrooge that three spirits will visit him. When Scrooge falls asleep, The Ghost of Christmas Past visits him first. The Ghost shows him scenes from the past the reveal Scrooges’ live; from a lonesome young boy to a man who has allowed greed to overcome his life, a man who does not know love and compassion. Scrooge is touched by what he has seen and even allows emotions to overcome his stone-cold heart. Secondly, the Ghost of Christmas Present visits Scrooge. The Ghost takes Scrooge to several Christmas celebrations, including the party at Fred’s house. Also the Ghost takes Scrooge to the Crachit’s house, and warns him that unless the future is changed the crippled young son of Bob, Tiny Tim will die. The ghost warns Scrooge to be carful of his ignorance. Lastly the Ghost of Christmas Yet to Come visits Scrooge. The old man becomes aware that several people discuses the death of someone. Scrooge began his transformation into a good man when the Ghost of Christmas present shows him the Cratchit household. Scrooge throughout this scene is presented with the consequences of his actions and how they affect those who are less fortunate than he. “Think of that. Bob had but fifteen bob a-week himself; he pocketed on Saturdays but fifteen copies of his Christian name; and yet the Ghost of
During his encounters with the Ghost of Christmas Past, he had seen his relationship and mood change. When he was a little boy in school, Scrooge was more concentrated on his schoolwork. He shut himself out at the early age, and was alone for most of his childhood, leading to his misunderstanding of compassion. When he was older, he had stayed at the schoolhouse for most of his childhood, until he went home with his sister. Because of this, the years to come were Scrooge’s most cheerful years, in which he is apprenticed by a good man. In the final years of his prime, he had relationship troubles and was losing his nobler aspirations. When his love had left him, he probably became the Scrooge we find in the beginning of the story. The Ghost of Christmas Past’s actions left Scrooge scared, yet curious to see what the Ghost of Christmas Present will show to him.
The text explicitly states Scrooge, a squeezing, wrenching, grasping, clutching, covetous, old sinner has passed away. According to the text, he despises many things such as happiness, humor, and even Christmas. From the reading, I know that he is depressed all the time, consequently his mental state has led him to call other people stupid, dumb, and idiots. On page three, in the conversation with his nephew Fred, Scrooge insults his nephew about marrying and loving his wife. The text states, that he also “seized the ruler with such energy of action, that the singer fled in terror, leaving the keyhole to the frost and even more congenial frost.” From the reading I know that Scrooge isn’t a people person and is very down about life. Based on the text he doesn’t really like being around them. For example Scrooge didn’t donate any money to the poor, and blew off his nephew about spending Christmas with them. In the text it states that there is no wind as bare as Scrooge, this means he doesn't really care or doesn't have many feelings.
First, Scrooge’s Co-Worker, Jacob Marley passes away on Christmas Eve one year and will never come back. Scrooge continues on with his life, although
Scrooge learns that he needs to treat his workers better. This conclusion is reached because the
Scrooge struggles to learn a lesson and insists the ghost to tell him who the dead man was and becomes horrified when he realizes it is himself and asks for redemption as he 'will not be the man [he] must have been for this intercourse', thus realizing that he still has a chance to change his fate.
But Scrooge is not very content to see him, he wants to know where he’s gonna take him. As the ghost takes him to where they need to go they move to the big city and it looks like that somebody died, it states in the text that a man recited I don’t know all that I know is that he’s dead.It also
He sees his sister Fan, as well as himself as a young boy. Scrooge also sees the school master and misses having him as his teacher. He sees Fezziwig and his daughters. He starts to get tears in his eyes because he misses it so much. Scrooge used to enjoy Christmas as well as other stuff.
Scrooge was surprised when Past took him to see himself when he was only a boy. At the time Srooge realized that he should have done something for the little boy that was caroling, but Scrooge realizes that it is too late. Then Scrooge sees when he is 12 that his sister comes in and says that he can come home for christmas this year. So they get there stuff and go outside, the dad was telling scrooge that he can stay to days and then go to work. Then Scrooge sees his old boss Fezziwig and realizes that he wanted to be like Fezziwig when he was older and never became that kind of boss.
Scrooge then started begging the ghost to show him someone who cares about him. They then go to a random couples house where they are thankful for Scrooge's death but Scrooge wants to see someone who care about him. They traveled to Bob Cratchit's house where Bob is is almost over Tiny Tim's death. But no one liked Scrooge after he asked the Spirit more than once.
No ghost and no sound. A bright light hits scrooge. He follows it to the next room and sees the ghost from Christmas present. He tells scrooge to touch his robe. They ended up in the city on Christmas morning. Then the spirit takes him to the home of Bob Crachit's house where he gets to see the family and how hard I is for them to live a poor life. There Christmas feast was merely anything for them to feast on with the little they had. The spirit informs scrooge that even though the family celebrates with contempt one of those chairs will be open next year. He takes him to many other houses in the community to see what Christmas is like to other families. He also shows him two starving children ignorance and want. The ghost takes scrooge back and yet again once more the clock strikes
