Muslims confess that God is one (Koran 112: 1-4). He has no partner (Koran 6: 22-24) or son (Koran 2:16; 19: 35). God is so much transcendent that he comes in contact with humankind that through his word as it is contained in the Koran. If from this point of view, the Islamic conception of God contains some accents of the Biblical revelation, on the other hand, Muslims reject the Biblical truths which Christians consider to be a central element for their faith as we will see it in the following section of this study. However, Muslims believe in the virgin birth of Jesus, in his miracles, his ascension into heaven by God and his return to the earth before judgment

Even though both religions belief in one God, Christians believe that Jesus is the son the of God while Muslims believe that God has no family members (brothers, sister, parents, children, etc). The Muslims follow the a holy book called the Quran which teaches them to follow a code of conduct like to respect, truthfulness, and encourage peace; likewise the Christians also have a holy book called the Bible which follows the same code of conduct. Although both books are very similar they have key difference for example a new version of
The Muslim people disregard the fact that Jesus, who is the Savior for Christians, is the son of God. They also question his crucifixion; this is because Muslims do not understand how such hardship could be put upon Jesus (Houdmann). The religion of Islam is a works-oriented religion, while Christianity is based on salvation. This is by faith. According to Muslims, the Quran is the last revelation of Allah (answers). God specifically warned his people about adding to His Word. With this being true, the Quran directly goes against His teachings. Evidently, Islam and Christianity are very different.

Both Islam and Christianity are considered to be Monotheistic faiths, meaning they both believe in the aspect of One God. Furthermore, both the religions can be traced back to an Abrahamic origin, where Prophet Abraham was one of the first as well as one of the most dedicated believers of God. Not only that, the two faiths believe in the existence of Moses, Isaac, David and Joseph as Prophets. In their Holy Books, the Quran and the Bible, there are many stories regarding these Prophets, accentuating to the believers to follow in their guidelines. Moreover, both religions believe in the Bible and Old Testament as divine scriptures. However, it is important to note that Christianity does not approve the Quran as the word of God .
Two of the most practiced and widespread religions in the world, Christianity and Islam, share many of the same ideals and views on God; however, they differ in three distinct ways. Whereas Christians believe in the holy trinity of the Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit, Muslims are strict in their belief of only Allah. In addition, there is dispute amongst the two religions on whether Jesus was actually crucified on the cross. This point ties into the differences in the doctrine of salvation between the two religions. Finally, Christianity and Islam differ in their holy book and practices upon which to become closer to and fulfill his or her duty to god.
