multiple sclerosis.
The central nervous system consists of the brain and the spinal cord. The peripheral nervous system includes all the nerves, ganglia in the body that excludes the central nervous system. When the immune system of the body attacks their own cells, the condition is referred to as autoimmune disorder.
Multiple sclerosis is an autoimmune disorder where the immune cells invade the central nervous system and eventually results in the inhibiting the communication between the brain and the other organs. This disease is a long term disease (progressive disease) and each individual is affected by varied symptoms while other individuals might not suffer any symptoms at all.
