Epistemological Intellectual Autobiography
I chose Interdisciplinary Studies because it allowed me to explore a variety of topics, and
History was one of them. I was particularly interested in the social and cultural history of
different societies and cultures, and I thought Interdisciplinary Studies would give me the best
opportunity to do that. I also wanted to gain a better understanding of how our modern world
came to be, and I felt that studying History would give me the best insight into that. Additionally,
I was interested in the critical thinking skills I would develop through the program, and I am
confident that Interdisciplinary Studies will enable me to develop these skills.
The opportunity to study a wide range of topics was also appealing, as it gave me the
chance to explore a variety of topics. I look forward to gaining a comprehensive understanding
of how our world works and gaining valuable critical thinking skills. These skills will be
invaluable to me in both my personal and professional life. I am confident that Interdisciplinary
Studies will be a great investment for my future. For example, I can use the knowledge I have
gained to develop new solutions to problems, think creatively and critically, and effectively
communicate my ideas. Furthermore, I can use these skills to find innovative solutions to
complex problems, make better decisions, and make informed decisions.
My disciplinary interests in Interdisciplinary Studies were largely shaped by my
educational and professional background. As an undergraduate, I had the opportunity to take a
variety of interdisciplinary classes which opened my eyes to the potential benefits of combining
different fields of study. This experience also made me realize the potential of combining
different disciplines to create innovative solutions to complex problems. As a professional, I have
been exposed to a wide range of interdisciplinary projects, which has further reinforced my
interest in Interdisciplinary Studies. For example, I recently worked on a project with colleagues

from different backgrounds, and the combination of our expertise allowed us to develop an
innovative strategy that addressed the needs of the stakeholders. This experience has further
confirmed my belief in the value of Interdisciplinary Studies, and its potential to create effective
solutions to difficult problems.
My values are honesty, integrity, fairness, and respect for people. I strive to live my life
by these values, and I always try to be accountable for my actions. I believe that these values are
important for any successful personal and professional relationship. Honesty and integrity are
essential components of any relationship, as are fairness and respect. Without these, it is
impossible to build trust and have meaningful conversations. Furthermore, those values are
essential for creating an environment where everyone feels safe to express themselves and have
their opinions heard. I am passionate about creating a safe space for everyone to express their
ideas and opinions. I am also confident in my ability to listen to others and to understand their
point of view. I am a strong communicator and always strive to create meaningful relationships
with the people I interact with. I believe that my strengths are my ability to build trust and
rapport with others, my openness to feedback and criticism, and my willingness to take risks and
challenge the status quo. I'm also good at problem-solving and conflict resolution, and I'm
always looking for ways to innovate and think outside the box. I'm able to bring people together
to work collaboratively. I'm also a creative thinker and I'm good at staying organized and keeping
track of details. I'm also a fast learner and I'm comfortable taking risks. My organizational skills
allow me to manage projects efficiently, while my creative problem-solving skills help me to
come up with innovative solutions to challenging issues. I'm also confident in my ability to take
risks and learn from my mistakes.
