Unbroken be;
The flowers that nod above her breast
She cannot see;
To warbling bird, to purling brook,
Deaf are her ears;
Sealed is the volume of the book
Of her brief years.
So let her rest; she will not heed
The tales they tell;
She recks not now of word or deed—
She slumbers well.
