DISCIPLE said to his spiritual master, “What shall I do? for I am in great straits because of the numbers of people who come to visit me; and my occupations are disturbed by their coming to and fro.” He replied, “Lend something to those who are poor, and ask something of those who are rich, in order that they may not come about thee again.”
