Achilles Tatius (Fifth Century)
Achilles Tatius (a-kil’ēz tā’shi-us). A Greek writer of romances; born at Alexandria; flourished in the fifth century of our era. He wrote ‘The Loves of Clitophon and Leucippe,’ an erotic story of florid style, and without much regard to unity or consistency of plot.
