Beveridge, Albert Jeremiah. An American politician and writer, born in Ohio, Oct. 6, 1862; died in 1927. He was United States senator from Indiana, 1899–1911. He wrote: ‘The Russian Advance’ (1903); ‘The Young Man and the World’ (1905).
