Robins, Edward. An American author and critic; born at Pau, France, March 2, 1862; died in 1943. Among his works are: ‘Echoes of the Playhouse, a Review of the Old Time English Theatrical Life,’ ‘The Palmy Days of Nance Oldfield,’ ‘Benjamin Franklin, Printer, Statesman, Philosopher and Private Citizen,’ ‘Romances of Early America,’ and a number of historical tales for boys.
