Whittier, Elizabeth H. An American poet, sister of John Greenleaf Whittier; died at Amesbury, MA, Sept. 3, 1864. Several of her poems can be seen in her brother’s ‘Hazel Blossoms’ (1875), or under that title in any collection of his works.
