Harold Bell Wright (1872–1944)

Wright, Harold Bell. An American author, clergyman and artist; born in Rome, Oneida Co., NY, May 4, 1872; died in 1944. Painter, decorator, and landscape painter from 1887–97; pastor of Christian (Disciples) church, 1897–1903. Author of ‘That Printer of Udell’s’ (1903); ‘The Shepherd of the Hills’ (1907); ‘The Calling of Dan Matthews’ (1909); ‘The Uncrowned King’ (1910); ‘The Winning of Barbara Worth’ (1911); ‘Their Yesterdays’ (1912); ‘The Eyes of the World’ (1914).
