Nabuco de Araujo, José Tito (nä-bö’kō dā är-ä-ö’zhō). A Brazilian historical and dramatic writer; born in Rio de Janeiro, Jan. 4, 1836. He wrote ‘The Son of Chance,’ a drama which has been successfully represented in several of the South-American cities; ‘Maxims and Thoughts’ (1876); ‘Life of Lamartine’ (1877); ‘Life of General Gurjao’ (1878); and ‘Poems’ (1879).
