Jules Quesnay de Beaurepaire (1838–1923)

Quesnay de Beaurepaire, Jules (kā-nā’ dė bō-rė-pãr’) [“Jules de Glouvet”]. A French novelist and miscellaneous writer; born at Saumur, 1838; died in 1923. He was author of ‘Stories of the Olden Time’ (1882); the novels ‘The Bourgeois Family’ (1883); ‘The Ideal’ (1884); ‘Marie Fougère’ (1889); and some volumes of poetry, as ‘The Mariner’ (1881); ‘The Shepherd’ (1882); ‘The Forester’ (1880).
