Károly Ujfalvy (1842–1904)

Ujfalvy, Károly Eugen von (ö-i-fäl’vē), Mezö-Kövesd. An Austrian philologist and anthropologist; born at Vienna, May 16, 1842; died in 1904. He is author of: ‘French Scientific Expedition to Russia, Siberia, and Turkestan’ (6 vols., 1878–80); ‘Researches in Biblical Ethnography’ (1872); ‘Anthropological Results of a Visit to Central Asia’ (1880); ‘Parsees and Brahmins’ (1887).
