Mikhail Mikhailov (18291865)
Mikhaïlov, Mikhail Larionovitch (mē-kä’ē-lof). A Russian journalist and novelist; born in the Ural Mountains, 1829; died in Siberia, 1865. He was son of a Russian official and a Khirgiz princess. On his return from traveling in Europe (1858–61), political considerations caused his exile. His best novel was: ‘Adam Adamovich’ (1851).
