Ferrigni, Pietro Francesco Leopoldo Coccoluto (fer-ēn’yē). An Italian journalist and topical and descriptive writer; born in Livorno (Leghorn), Nov. 15, 1836; died in 1895. His books enjoyed great popularity; among them: ‘Among Pictures and Statues’ (1872); ‘See Naples and …’ ‘Up and Down in Florence’ (1877); ‘The King Is Dead’ (1878); ‘Jousts and Tourneys.’
