Richard Salter Storrs (1821–1900)

Storrs, Richard Salter. An American Congregational minister, and writer on ecclesiastical history and theology; born at Braintree, MA, Aug. 21, 1821; died at Brooklyn, June 5, 1900. He is author of ‘The Graham Lectures on the Wisdom, Power, and Goodness of God’ (1856); ‘Conditions of Success in Preaching without Notes’ (1875); ‘The Divine Origin of Christianity’ (1884); ‘Bernard of Clairvaux’ (1892); and ‘Forty Years of Pastoral Life.’
