Miller, Stephen Franks. An American lawyer and biographical writer, born in North Carolina about 1810; died in 1867. He wrote: ‘Bench and Bar of Georgia’ (2 vols., 1858), a valuable collection of biographies and historical matter; ‘Memoir of General Blackshear and the War in Georgia, 1813–14’ (1858); ‘Wilkins Wylder’ (1860).
