Hall, Thomas Winthrop [“Tom Hall”]. An American writer of prose and verse; born in Ogdensburg, NY, Nov. 13, 1862; died in Hannibal, MO, Aug. 21, 1900. Among his prose works are: ‘An Experimental Wooing,’ ‘Tales by Tom Hall,’ ‘The Fun and Fighting of the Rough Riders,’ and among his verses ‘When Hearts are Trumps,’ ‘When Love Laughs,’ ‘When Cupid Calls.’
