Vladimir Sollogub (18131882)
Zollogub or Sollogub (zol’lō-göb), written also Zollohub (zol’lō-höb), Vladimir Alexandrovich. A popular Russian miscellaneous writer; born at St. Petersburg, 1813; died on June 16, 1882. Besides poems, essays, and dramas, he wrote a novel, ‘Tarantas,’ translated into English and German.
