Glen, William. A Scottish song-writer; born in Glasgow, Nov. 14, 1789; died there, Dec. 1826. His fame rests upon his ‘Poems, Chiefly Lyrical’ (1815); “Wae’s me for Prince Charlie,” a Jacobite song, is widely known.
