Williston Walker (1860–1922)

Walker, Williston. An American clergyman and historical writer, son of George L.; born at Portland, ME, July 1, 1860; died in 1922. He was professor of ecclesiastical history at Yale after 1901. His works include: ‘The Creeds and Platforms of Congregationalism’; ‘On the Increase of Royal Power under Philip Augustus’; ‘History of the Congregational Church in the United States’; ‘John Calvin.’
