I keep it my own way.
I do not need to go to church to pray.
Is good as good can be.
I claim my own identity.
Perfuming its one hour
With a sweet sense of power.
That cleaves a tiny path, but free,
Choosing an orange-blossoming tree.
I feel as holy as saint ever was.
This is my perfume, prayer and buzz.
